What families say
After a discouraging start elsewhere, my daughter learned to love the piano again. In her very first lesson she played a whole piece with her teacher. She reads her notes now, so she's never lost practising at home. The joy of playing goes hand in hand with real rigour.
My teenage son actually looks forward to his lesson every week. The small group keeps him motivated, and the teacher gives him real feedback every single time. In one year he's gone from hesitant to playing pieces he's proud of.
I started as a complete beginner at 41. I was nervous, but the group is warm and the pace is just right. Six months in, I'm playing songs I never thought I could. It's the best hour of my week.
What we offer
Every programme we offer, in detail. Sessions are 1 hour weekly, except the private lesson (45 min).
A joyful first encounter with music — rhythm, the 7 notes, high & low sounds, coordination, and listening. The perfect entry point before joining group classes at age 5.
Individualised learning in a small-group setting — developed by Ocarina since 2014. Each child progresses at their own pace, builds real confidence, and learns to practise independently.
Location: currently at our Central Mansions campus only. Coming soon at our BKK campus.
Unlike a traditional group class where all students follow the same programme, here every student works on their own piece, at their own level, with their own objectives. The teacher circulates continuously, giving each student precise personal corrections throughout the session. Maximum 6 students per class, each with their own keyboard and headphones.
Each student plays throughout the entire session — no waiting, no following another student's pace.
Working alongside peers reduces the fear of mistakes, normalises effort, and creates natural emulation.
Students learn to re-read, self-correct, and stabilise their own work — essential for long-term progress.
The core mechanism: corrected repetition. The student plays → the teacher gives a short, precise correction → the student replays immediately → the right gesture settles into muscle memory. Repeated throughout the session, this is what transforms instruction into reflex.
The private lesson remains the ideal choice when a student needs fully dedicated individual attention or is preparing for competitions. For specific learning and attention needs (ADHD, DYS), our dedicated Special Educational Needs class offers an adapted curriculum and bespoke scores.
45 minutes of fully dedicated one-to-one time. The most focused format — ideal for students who want a fully personalised pace, and required for competition preparation.
Wednesdays 16:30–17:30 at both branches. A complete musicianship programme that directly accelerates piano learning. Strongly recommended alongside piano classes.
A fully adapted private format with bespoke scores and a tailored curriculum for specific learning and attention needs — including ADHD and dyslexia (DYS). 45 minutes per week, one-to-one, with dedicated progress tracking.
30-minute parent consultation (required): before enrolment, parents attend a consultation to discuss the student's needs and goals. Together we design an individualised curriculum and select the most appropriate teaching materials.
Each adult works on the piece of their choice, with personal corrections from the teacher in a warm and welcoming group setting. Start at any time of year.
Intensive 1-to-1 pathway for students preparing international competitions — dedicated coaching, curated repertoire, and regular mock performances. Requires private lesson format.
