Private and individualised group piano classes for children, teens and adults — taught by a dedicated piano school in the heart of Phnom Penh since 2014.
Piano School in Phnom Penh
Ocarina Piano School has taught piano in Phnom Penh since 2014, to Khmer families, international families and expats alike. Whether you are a parent looking for a first piano teacher for a four-year-old, a teenager preparing for exams, or an adult finally learning the instrument you always wanted to play, our lessons are built around one idea: every learner deserves a plan suited to their pace, their goals and their life.
There are three ways to learn piano with us — individualised group piano, private piano lessons, and, for our youngest students, the Piano Awakening Program. All are taught at our Phnom Penh campuses, in French and English, following a curriculum informed by French music education standards.

Frequently Asked Questions
Fees depend on the format you choose — individualised group piano, private lessons, or the Piano Awakening Program for ages 3–5. See our fees section for current per-semester pricing, or book an assessment session and we will recommend the right fit for your budget and goals.
Most children are ready for structured piano lessons around age five or six, though our Piano Awakening Program welcomes children from age three with a playful, non-instrument-first approach to musicality. There is no upper age limit either — many of our students begin as teens or adults.
Yes. Our individualised group piano model gives each student their own keyboard, headphones and personal learning plan, while the group setting adds motivation, healthy pace-setting and performance confidence that is harder to build in private lessons alone.
Both work well for beginners. Private lessons suit students who want maximum one-to-one pacing or are preparing for specific exams. Group piano suits students who thrive on peer motivation and want more contact time for a comparable cost.
Both. Our teachers deliver lessons in English and French, which makes Ocarina a natural fit for international families, francophone families and Khmer families who want their children learning in a second language.
